The Local Government of Galkaio District together with the Organizations of Islamic cooperation distributed food aid to Galkacyo residents.

The local government of Galkayo district distributed food from the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to needy families in Galkayo District.

The Deputy Mayor of Galkayo district Eng Mohamed Abdi Elmi together with members of the District Council, Director of social affairs & commissioners of the 5 villages of Galkayo District have distributed 700 different types of food to the needy families which were selected in the five villages of Galkayo District.

This donation came from King Salmaan of Saudi Arabia was delivered to Galkayo District by officials from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and thanked the Galkayo district administration in Galmudug for their cooperation in distributing the aid to the needy.
